1The problem is not that you are being irrational
Under sustained pressure, judgement narrows. That is not a character flaw, it is what pressure does: the options that stay visible are the fast, total ones. Resign. Blow it up. Start something on Monday.
The trouble is that those are the options hardest to undo, and they are being weighed at the moment you are least equipped to weigh them. A decision that would take a fortnight of thought in a calm month gets made in an afternoon.
2What to do first
Not decide. Reduce the load slightly, then decide later with the same brain in better condition.
Only you see this. Nothing is saved or sent.
3If money is part of the pressure
Debt is more solvable than it feels, and the people who solve it do it for free. In Ireland that service is MABS — State-funded, confidential, and it will deal with creditors on your behalf. Most countries have an equivalent; if you are somewhere else, look for the free money advice service funded by your own state or by a charity. That is a different conversation from the one about your job, and it is usually the one worth having first.

Write down the one thing about this week that, if it were different, would make the biggest difference. Just that. Do not solve it yet.
Only you see this. Nothing is saved or sent.
People often find the sentence they write is not about the job at all. That is useful information, and it is the reason there is nothing for sale on this page.
If things are heavier than a work problem, the services listed on our support page are better placed to help than anything here.
