Terms and Conditions
Irish and EU website policy | Effective 6 September 2026 · version 1.0.0
Plain English summary. Build Your Exit provides practical business education, planning tools and structured support for adults. It does not promise income, business success or that leaving employment is safe. Your statutory consumer rights always apply.
1. Who we are
Build Your Exit, also called BYE, is the trading brand used for this website and its products.
Legal trader: Ronaldo Pavic trading as Build Your Exit
Trading address: 57 Cypress Drive, Cypress Downs, Templeogue, D6W R859, Ireland

Telephone: +353 83 899 2912

In these Terms, “BYE”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the legal trader identified above. “You” means the person using the website, creating an account or purchasing a product or service.
2. What these Terms cover
These Terms apply to buildyourexitnow.com, the BYE customer application and all products or services sold through them. They include the Before You Quit Check, The Exit Number, the Build Your Exit Starter Kit, Skills to Business Map, Idea Validation Scorecard, First Customer Planner, 90 Day Exit Builder, workshops, group programmes and any future Build Your Exit Circle membership.
A product page, order confirmation or event page may include additional terms about format, access, support, recording, dates or availability. If there is a conflict, the more specific product information applies to that product, but nothing limits a mandatory legal right.
3. Who may use BYE
BYE is designed for adults aged 18 or over. You must be legally able to enter into a contract. If you purchase mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you are a consumer and Irish and EU consumer protections apply.
If you purchase for a business, you must have authority to bind that business and must provide accurate business and tax information. Consumer rights apply only where the law treats the purchaser as a consumer.
4. What BYE provides
BYE provides education, assessments, calculators, templates, examples, planning workspaces, saved progress, reminders, workshops, programmes and related support. The method may guide you through Discover, Evaluate, Validate, Build, Prove, Prepare and Exit.
Progress indicators record actions and evidence that you enter, such as calculations, customer conversations, offers or sales. They are not a certification and do not state that you are financially, legally or personally ready to leave employment.
5. Education, not professional advice
BYE content is general education and decision support. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, employment, medical or mental health advice. Calculations and examples are estimates based on assumptions and information you provide. You are responsible for checking inputs and obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified professional before making a high consequence decision.
BYE never guarantees revenue, customers, profit, funding, employment outcomes or a safe date to leave a job. Employment can be an important source of stability. You remain responsible for decisions, actions and compliance with duties owed to an employer, client, regulator or tax authority.
6. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign in method secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not share paid access with another person. We may require fresh verification before changing an email address, exporting financial information or deleting an account.
Your profile may include your goals, available time, skills, chosen idea, assessment answers, saved scenarios, notes and progress. Sensitive fields are optional where the product can work without them. Do not enter an employer name, manager name, workplace contact details, trade secrets, confidential documents or personal data about another person unless you are lawfully entitled to do so.
7. Assessments, personalisation and automated tools
Assessment results and recommendations are generated from the answers you provide and the version of the applicable scoring or recommendation rules. BYE may also use clearly identified artificial intelligence assisted features to help draft or organise material. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by you.
BYE does not use an assessment or automated recommendation to make a decision that produces legal effects, or similarly significant effects, about you. You may update your answers, retake an assessment and contact us if you believe a result is wrong.
8. Orders and contract formation
Before you order, the product page and checkout will show the main characteristics, format, access term, support level, total price, tax, currency and any renewal terms. You can correct input errors before payment.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when payment is accepted and we send an order or access confirmation, unless the confirmation says that further acceptance is required. Failed payment does not create access. We may reject or cancel an order affected by fraud, a clear pricing error, legal restriction or technical duplication. If payment was taken, we will refund it.
The payment button will make clear that placing the order creates an obligation to pay. Optional additional purchases will not be selected in advance.
9. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in euro unless stated otherwise. The product page and checkout will show the total price and applicable taxes before you pay. The price displayed at checkout when you order is the price that applies.
Payments are processed by an independent payment provider. BYE does not normally receive your full payment card number. You authorise the provider to charge the displayed amount and, for a subscription, the recurring amount at the displayed frequency until cancelled.
10. Delivery, access and compatibility
Paid access is normally unlocked immediately after successful payment and confirmed by email. You should contact us if access is not created, a download fails or a confirmation email is delayed. You can recover existing access without buying the same product again.
“Permanent access” means that the product has no scheduled expiry and no recurring access fee. It does not mean that a hosted service must operate forever. If we retire a pay once hosted product, we will give reasonable notice where possible and provide a practical export or download option where the nature of the product allows it.
Product pages will identify important technical requirements, compatibility, access duration and updates. A pay once purchase includes the version supplied and reasonable corrections needed to keep it conforming with the contract. It does not automatically include a materially different future product unless stated.
11. Consumer cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation rights depend on whether you buy downloadable digital content, an interactive digital service, a live service or a subscription. The Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and explains the 14 day statutory withdrawal period, immediate supply requests, loss of the withdrawal right in defined cases, proportional charges and remedies for content or services that do not conform with the contract.
Nothing in these Terms or in a product page removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Subscriptions
Build Your Exit Circle will be offered only if launched. Before subscribing, you will see the price, billing frequency, benefits, next payment timing, minimum term if any, cancellation method and access consequences. Recurring options will not be selected in advance.
Unless a minimum term is clearly stated, you may stop future renewal at any time through Account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation of renewal takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access normally continues until that date. This is separate from any statutory right to withdraw during the first 14 days.
If payment fails, we may apply a clearly stated grace period. We will explain the retry and access consequences. Pausing will be available only where the plan page expressly offers it and will show the pause period and access position before confirmation.
13. Workshops and programmes
Each event page will state the intended audience, learning outcome, date, time zone, format, capacity, facilitator, preparation, recording terms, replay access, price and cancellation rules. You are responsible for joining at the correct time with a suitable device and connection.
If BYE cancels an event, you may choose any reasonable replacement we offer or receive a refund for the cancelled event. If we change a material term, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Your statutory withdrawal and service conformity rights remain unaffected.
A recording may include your name, voice, image, chat message or contribution only where this was explained and an appropriate lawful basis exists. Recording terms and participation choices will be shown before the event.
14. Your work and content
You retain ownership of the original notes, calculations, plans and other content you create. You give BYE a limited permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
You must not upload unlawful material, confidential employer or client information, malicious code, infringing content or personal data you have no right to use. We may remove or restrict material where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or protection of others.
15. BYE intellectual property and permitted use
BYE and its licensors own the website, software, branding, methods, assessments, templates, examples, recordings and other supplied materials, excluding your original content. A purchase gives you a personal, limited, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the purchased material for your own learning and business planning.
You may use completed outputs in your own business. You may not resell, publish, share, sublicense, reproduce at scale, remove ownership notices from, or use BYE materials to build a competing product, dataset, assessment or training service without written permission.
16. Acceptable use
You must not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, scrape protected content, test security without permission, use another person’s account, automate excessive requests, upload malware, misuse community or support features, or use BYE to break the law or another person’s rights.
17. Availability, updates and changes
We use reasonable care to keep BYE available and secure, but temporary interruption may occur for maintenance, security, provider failure or events outside reasonable control. We will restore service within a reasonable time and provide legally required remedies where a failure affects a purchased product.
We may improve features, correct content and change future offers. A change will not remove a core paid benefit without an appropriate remedy. Material changes to an active subscription will be communicated in advance, and you may cancel before they take effect where required.
18. Suspension and account closure
You may close your account through Account settings or by contacting us. Closing an account may end access, so you should export or download permitted content first. Legal and financial records may still be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may temporarily restrict or end access for serious or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful use or non payment. Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to correct it. We will not use this clause to avoid providing a refund or remedy required by law.
19. Responsibility for loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate misconduct, breach of a mandatory consumer right or any liability that law does not allow us to exclude.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for a business decision made contrary to the warnings in these Terms, or for information you entered incorrectly. Your statutory remedies for damage caused to digital content or a device remain unaffected.
BYE is not responsible for the independent acts, decisions or availability of an employer, customer, supplier, payment provider or linked third party, except where the law makes us responsible.
20. Privacy, cookies and communications
The Privacy Policy explains how BYE handles personal data. Essential service messages about sign in, security, purchases, access, invoices, refunds, subscriptions and event registration may be sent where needed to provide the service. Optional guidance and The Exit Note require the applicable permission and can be stopped without blocking essential messages.
Non essential analytics and marketing technologies will not be used before the required consent. Cookie choices can be changed through the website controls.
21. Complaints and disputes
Please contact hello@buildyourexitnow.com with your account email, order reference and a clear description of the issue. We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within a reasonable time. You may also seek information from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
These Terms are governed by Irish law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your country of residence. You may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. We do not require a consumer to use private arbitration.
22. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. The current version and effective date will be available on the website. If a material change affects an active paid service, we will give reasonable notice and explain any right to cancel. The Terms accepted at the time of a completed pay once purchase continue to govern that purchase unless a change is required by law or benefits you. Questions may be sent to hello@buildyourexitnow.com or to the geographical business address in section 1.
